Marc commenced his Allied Health career as an Occupational Therapist in 1994. After completing his Masters of Physiotherapy Studies in 2003 he has worked in physiotherapy roles, completing a PhD in 2020. His thesis contained 5 first author publications and was nominated for an Outstanding Thesis award. He has maintained an active role as a clinician and researcher with 18 peer-reviewed publications. He is passionate about the development of others.

An advanced physiotherapist with high level cardiorespiratory assessment and treatment skills. Highly experienced in mechanical and non-invasive ventilation, inspiratory muscle training, secretion clearance techniques and respiratory equipment prescription and set-up.

Experienced working with clients following post critical illness and neurological conditions including; spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, progressive neurological disorders and stroke. Marc will assist you to both optimise and maintain your function.

Marc is an active clinician researcher with over 15 peer reviewed publications. He has successfully been awarded over $400K in research grants. He is currently co-leading a multi-centre study investigating the feasibility of an inspiratory muscle training protocol. He is regularly invited to speak at national and international scientific conferences, and is on the Editorial Board of Australian Critical Care. Currently, he is the supervisor of two PhD students, and assisting other health professionals develop the necessary skills to commence and complete their research aspirations.
